What we host

Players join a private DayZ session. The names below are what the night feels like, not the internal folder labels.

Last one standing

Player versus player fights that run until someone is left. Some nights are a free-for-all on the Northwest Airfield field. Others are close-quarters in Gvozdno. There is also a timed hunt: one player tries to cook a meal and signal with smoke while the other tries to stop them. Capture the Flag is the team version, with computer-controlled teammates and a skyward marker on whoever is carrying the flag.

DaymaZing Race

A shared route across Chernarus or Livonia. Each stop is a job: drink from a well, forage, loot a shed, hunt, fish, light a fire, or clear infected at a police station. The next destination arrives as a paper note in your inventory. You read it, go there, and the field stays dangerous because other racers can fight you on the way. Fail a task and time is added. Die and you come back at the last stop you finished, with a fresh note. A two-path variant weaves separate routes, then meets at a hayfield near Gorka for a flag finish.

Race courses

Point-to-point sprints and street circuits. The Chernarus airport circuit uses a start gate and a countdown. Livonia has its own tracks, including Borek and an airport layout. Drivers can take a RESQ-modified Humvee with stronger launch than the stock M1025, or race armored vehicles from the Maharlika military pack. Paper notes mark A-to-B destinations; circuit heats skip the notes and run laps.

Armor versus AI

Tank Battle on Chernarus. You crew a player tank against Expansion AI soldiers and patrol tanks on the Northwest Airfield wreck field. Clear the field and the clock stops. If you die, the tank stays; you respawn in the field and get back in.

Squads against AI

Team nights against computer-controlled fighters. One setup walks the street through Vyshnoye: wood piles mark the route, and mercenaries and snipers spawn from houses as you pass. Another drops mercenary waves into the airfield arena while players still fight each other. These are the open-battle and village-clearing nights, not a public hive.

Open world

Plain Chernarus or Livonia with no race script and no arena win condition. Movement and actions are still recorded so the session can be reviewed later.

Custom mods and Workshop support

Missions are not vanilla DayZ with a different spawn. RESQ writes its own mods for notes, vehicles, and telemetry. Those sit next to other Steam Workshop mods the missions actually load. Third-party Workshop items stay those authors' work; we use them with permission.

RESQ mods on the Workshop

  • PaperNotes restores readable paper after vanilla Read/Write was removed. DaymaZing and A-to-B races put the next clue on a note in your inventory. Players must load this mod to read it.
  • Circuit Race Humvee is a modified M1025: stronger low-end torque, a higher rev range, and shorter low gears for launch. Circuit races require this on client and server so the vehicle matches.
  • Capture the Flag beam puts a tall marker on the flag carrier so the other team can see where the flag went.

Other Workshop mods we use

  • Community Framework, Dabs Framework, DayZ Expansion Core, and DayZ Expansion AI run the computer-controlled soldiers, flag teammates, and street-walk mercenaries.
  • MaharlikaPH Military Pack supplies the player tanks used in Tank Battle and, when the circuit is set for armor, the M1A2 or BMP-3 heats.
  • BS Patrol Tank supplies the AI armor that patrols the wreck field in Tank Battle.
  • VPP Admin Tools is used on everyday operator sessions. Tent Actions Fix is loaded on open-world Chernarus and Livonia sessions.

Stats and session recording

  • RaceStats is a server-only RESQ mod. It writes race trails, lap times, shots, and finish or DNF events that the race maps play back.
  • PVPCombatStats is a server-only RESQ mod. It records hits, damage, movement, and round results for the combat stats pages and PVP maps.
  • SessionStats is a server-only RESQ mod for open-world nights. It records player paths and actions until the last player leaves, then writes a review file.
  • Those files are what the dashboard links open. The browser pages do not invent the numbers; they read what the mods collected during the mission.

About this hub

RESQ Games hosts private DayZ missions. This is not a browser game and not a store. There is no Play Now button here because you need the DayZ desktop client and an invited session.

After a session, combat CSV files feed the stats pages. Race and session JSON files feed the map hosts.
